Tutoring policies are essential guidelines that outline the terms and expectations for both tutors and students. These policies help maintain a positive and productive tutoring environment.

Booking and Scheduling:

We kindly ask that families provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice in the event of a cancellation or rescheduling of their scheduled lesson. This advance notice allows us to accommodate other students and efficiently manage our tutoring schedule.

Fees and Payment:

Our tutoring rates are determined based on individual needs and the tutoring location. We understand that each student has unique requirements, and we strive to provide tailored tutoring services that meet those needs effectively. To obtain accurate pricing information, please contact us directly to discuss your specific tutoring requirements and the corresponding rates.

As a reminder, we kindly request that all invoices be settled promptly within the specified payment terms. In the event of a late payment, a 15% late fee will automatically be applied to the outstanding balance. Please note that our tutors will not proceed with scheduled sessions until the payment has been received and the account is brought up to date.
We understand that circumstances may arise requiring the cancellation of a scheduled lesson. If a cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson, we are pleased to offer a refund for the prepaid amount.

Cancellation and Attendance:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we strive to accommodate our families during difficult times. In our cancellation policy, we allow families to cancel up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson without any penalty. However, we recognize that situations such as illness or a bereavement due to a death in the family may necessitate last-minute cancellations. In such cases, we kindly request that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

Our advisor will be available to assist you and process the cancellation promptly. We kindly ask that you provide sufficient notice in accordance with our cancellation policy to ensure smooth coordination and to allow us to accommodate other students effectively.

To ensure fairness and flexibility, we offer make-up lessons for lessons that adhere to our cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made within the required notice period as outlined in our policy, we will be pleased to arrange a make-up lesson at a mutually convenient time for both the tutor and the student.

We uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect in all aspects of our interactions. We expect all parties, including tutors, students, and parents, to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor throughout their engagement with our services

We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all our students, tutors, and staff. Any behavior that is disrespectful, offensive, or violates our code of conduct will not be tolerated.

Academic Integrity:

We maintain a strong commitment to academic integrity and ethical practices. We do not tolerate plagiarism, cheating, or any form of unethical behavior from our students or their parents. We believe in fostering a culture of honesty, integrity, and personal responsibility in education. If a parent or student is found in violation of our policies regarding plagiarism, cheating, or unethical practices, we take such matters seriously. We will conduct a thorough investigation and, if substantiated, we reserve the right to discontinue our tutoring services immediately.

Confidentiality and Data Protection:
We prioritize the privacy and security of our users. We want to assure you that we do not engage in the solicitation of your personal information. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of any information you provide to us.

We occasionally capture and record photos or videos during tutoring sessions for marketing purposes. We want to assure you that we take privacy and consent seriously. As such, we inform all parties involved, including tutors, students, and parents, about our intention to record or take photographs prior to any sessions

Parental/Guardian Involvement:
We believe in the importance of parental involvement and support in a student’s educational journey. We encourage parents to actively engage with their child’s learning and provide the necessary guidance outside of tutoring sessions. However, we also recognize the significance of allowing our tutors the space and autonomy to effectively utilize the student’s full potential during lessons.

We value open communication and partnership with parents in supporting the academic growth and development of our students. We kindly request that parents keep us informed of any changes in their child’s grades or behavior that may impact their tutoring needs or progress

Termination of Services:

We respect the autonomy of our families and allow for service cancellations at any time, provided they align with our cancellation policy
